01 / OUR GAME
Justice is ArguedYou play Harold Beagll, a golden retriever attorney. Between trials you walk around Beagll Town, talking to suspects and digging up clues.
In court, every fight is a turn-based argument. Witnesses and prosecutors argue back. A good objection can wear them down or win over the jury, and a bad one leaves Harold tongue-tied.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY
A defense attorney.
“...”
WITNESS, SOMETIMES
Runs the flower stall by the courthouse steps and sees everything that happens on them. Sweet, patient, and never quite as surprised as she looks.
“Everybody in this town has a secret. Mine are mostly about soil.”
PROSECUTOR
The prosecutor who never loses, according to the prosecutor. Sharp suit, sharper tone, and a filing cabinet of grudges with Harold’s name on most of them.
“I don’t need a theory of the case. I have a theory of you.”
PRESIDING JUDGE
Has presided over Beagll Town’s courtroom for longer than anyone can remember and would like everyone to speak up. Fair, slow, and very fond of his gavel.
“Overruled. And good morning.”
